How we got here
We love telling this story, so here it is.
How we met
We met at Church!
Yes, you read that right. Go to Church! Emmanuel always says that even though he doesn't believe in the idea of soul mates, if there were something like that, then it would make sense to find your soul mate in the place you go to feed your soul. So meeting in Church is the least strange part of our story. The briefest of conversations before the service one Sunday left us wanting more. And every conversation afterwards birthed a desire for one more conversation. Now, when we look back, it was God writing our story all along, and we have just been recounting His dialogue.
Getting to know each other
Osato is a plethora of fun discoveries.
I chose to be the one to write this part about getting to know each other so I could tell you what a revelation she was, and still is, to me. Getting to know her is the best part. It's been like eating a bowl of ice cream where every layer is a new flavour and simultaneously the best flavour you've ever tasted. With Osato, tomorrow is always better. If you ask her what getting to know me is like, she'll probably tell you a lot of nice things, and yes, there are a lot of nice things to know about me. But that's not the focus now; I just want to tell you that it would take more than a thousand words to give you a full picture of how beautiful my beloved is. She is the essence of the word magnificent.
What's ahead
For us, Jesus is the centre.
This is why we got together, and this is why we want to build a home together. We will be saying 'I do' soon, mutually making a covenant to each other to have and to hold, with Jesus at the centre, until death.
This is the kind of ceremony we want to have. One with Love, Joy, and laughter. Together with our family, friends and well-wishers, we want to celebrate our love and have the most memorable time, glorifying Jesus. We want you there with us to witness as our forever begins.
